Amber Bauerle is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working as a counselor to a diverse clientele in outpatient and inpatient therapeutic settings. Amber is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University with focused training in psychotherapy. Amber is also a member of Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and is dedicated to continued education and learning new and enhanced methods to benefit her clientele.

Amber is an interactive solution focused therapist and specializes in developing individualized treatment. Amber’s approach to counseling involves assessing which method will be most beneficial to meet each client’s goals for healing and positive change. She frequently draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, psychodynamic, and Gottman methods (in work with couples). 

Amber is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) which is a well-researched approach to treating anxiety, depression, various levels of trauma including childhood abuse, complicated grief reactions, among other ailments such as experiencing “being stuck” (i.e. unable to express creativity or find joy in daily life).
